It has a geared rotary trimmer, with both imperial and metric rulers with a 0.25" (6,35mm) grid base with popular paper sizes on it. The cutting length is 12.5" (317mm), with extendable side arms that extend to 12" (304mm). There is an ergonomic Kush grip carriage for added comfort when cutting large amounts of paper. It will cut heavy-duty cardstock that is up to 0.05" (1,27mm) thick, heavyweight cardstock up to 350 gsm or 130 lb, synthetic products such as Yupo and acetate, lightweight vellum, and single sheets of lightweight paper. And yes, Replacement blades will be available when needed.
